POLYGLOSS
app

Polygloss is a language-learning app designed to make practice more engaging and interactive through image-based conversations. The goal was to create a playful and intuitive user experience that encourages spontaneous learning while maintaining a clean and accessible interface.

In this project, I worked on brand and logo design, UI design, and user flow optimization, ensuring a cohesive visual identity and seamless navigation. By integrating gamification elements, the design enhances engagement, making language learning feel natural, immersive, and enjoyable.

Visual identity Guideline

The brand identity guidelines act as a comprehensive manual, establishing clear standards for both digital and print media. They ensure consistency across all platforms, aligning employees, freelancers, and contractors with the brand’s visual and messaging standards. By unifying brand communication across all media and marketing channels, these guidelines create a cohesive and recognizable brand experience.

Design process

According to our conceptual research, the hummingbird is deeply connected to language and communication in indigenous mythology, often symbolizing the transmission of knowledge and stories. Based on this insight, we decided to redesign the brand while preserving its original hummingbird icon, reinforcing its significance as a visual representation of speech and cultural expression. This approach allowed us to craft a brand identity that not only honors its roots but also creates a meaningful connection between the concept of communication and the brand’s mission.
